Texas Skies: Marion Locks

The Fredericksburg Art Guild’s September First Friday Art Walk opening reception features Marion Loucks whose oil paintings capture the hours and seasons of the Texas Hill Country. Big skies and rugged country vistas are depicted. Sunrise to sunset paintings explore vibrant color and quiet times.
Marion has lived and painted in Fredericksburg for twenty five years. Study with Nancy Bush, Jill Carver and Albert Handell helped develop her contemporary realism approach to depicting the rolling hills and skies of the Hill Country.
First Friday Art Walk

Held on the first Friday of each month from 4 PM to 8 PM, FFAW invites visitors to explore the vibrant art scene of Fredericksburg. At the Guild, this special evening marks the unveiling of our Artist of the Month, who is showcased in a prominent gallery space with a new collection of work available for viewing and purchase. Guests can enjoy complimentary wine and refreshments as they meet the featured artist, browse a diverse selection of artwork, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. Whether you're a collector, an artist, or simply looking for an inspiring evening, we welcome you to experience the creativity and hospitality of the Fredericksburg Art Guild during First Friday Art Walk!
